The LORD Is My Banner
Oh, LORD, my Father and God
Thank You for hearing me, for You always listen to me
I stand in awe of Your presence
Your mercy overwhelms me
I called on Your name, and You saved me
I cried out in brokenness of heart, and You comforted me
Your Greatness extends to the highest of Heavens
Your Righteousness exalts nations
You are True to Your Word
And Your deeds are just
When, Oh LORD, will You silence Your enemies
That Your Truth may be heard
When will You shut the mouths of liars, so Your Truth can be known
Give them a double helping of the condemnation they seek
Let their just due come upon their own heads
But as for me, Your humbled servant, and my Family You have given
You will deal justly for Your sake
For You are a Righteous God
Teach me to walk with You all the days You have given me
Teach me to always pray in Your favor
Teach me to walk Your walk and to talk Your talk
And to live as You would have me live
In Your hands, I offer my body as a living sacrifice
As You Will, may it be done
In Honor of the Holy One of Israel, the Messiah of the nations
Jesus of Nazareth
In Whom the Fullness of the Deity is given
The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, Who is
One Eternal God
For Thine is the Kingdom, the Glory, the Power, the Praise,the Honor
And ALL that is Good, for ALL of eternal time.
